Seven-district pilot

Kindergarten starting points

Start with the district's current official registration route, then read the dated state record without mistaking it for today's program.

What this pilot can—and cannot—answer

Official district pages carry the current registration action. NJDOE's 2024-25 workbook carries reported full-day and half-day student counts. Those counts do not establish today's program, assignment, capacity, schedule, aftercare, transportation, eligibility, or deadline.

New Jersey requires full-day kindergarten statewide no later than 2029-30, so local programs may change during this transition. Read the state-source method · Read the law.
